Reviews for Palermo Pizza & Italian Restaurant
Review highlights
Based on 1,239 reviewsPalermo Pizza & Italian Restaurant in New Holland consistently receives positive feedback for its generous portions, reasonable pricing, and friendly, attentive service. Customers appreciate the variety of pizza options available, with particular praise for the Sicilian pizza's light, fluffy texture and crisp base. The restaurant is noted for its warm, casual atmosphere and quick service, even during busy lunch hours. While some reviews mention that the flavors lean more toward American-style Italian rather than authentic Italian, the overall quality and value keep guests returning. Sub sandwiches and other menu items also receive commendations for taste and size. Staff friendliness and efficient service are commonly highlighted as key strengths.
Great spot for lunch. They have a good variety of pizza on display to choose from. They were very friendly and hard working. Very busy at lunch but people were served quickly. I had a slice of the Sicilian pizza and a meat roll. Both were excellent and very reasonably priced. Definitely will go back
Went here to meet some friend's.The food was just amazing and so filling for the size that you get. I got a small parm and it looked like a large with extra chicken!! Next time in the area we will 100% have to stop by again!Thank you staff for the amazing food
Great food and service with and amazing value!!!! The Sicilian pizza is light and Fluffy with a crisp bottom. A real hidden gem!!
The pizza here is good and cheap. Also large servings for food. The waitress is fast and courteous, food always comes out hot. They have the best bread for their subs that I've found in the New Holland/Leola/Brownstown area. 10.06 for a Large Italian ain't bad either. It's enough to split between two people.
It is a casual restaurant. Our waitress, Becky, is one of the best waitresses that have served us for a while. Becky paid attention to our needs, suggested options, smiled a lot, seemed like was having fun, constantly was cleaning the table and made our night special. The taste of all the food was good. It does not have the same Italian taste as genuine pizza or pasta but to be an American Italian restaurant, it was good. The portions of the food was super decent, one plate can serve two people.I would definitely come back again.
Been eating here since they opened & were a little spot called Nino's! Portions have always stayed consistent. If u leave still hungry then make sure you order more than a slice! Go at lunchtime & the stuffed pizzas & other options are amazing as well.
We were here on a Monday night, it wasn’t full at all, and the place was pretty quiet. The food was delicious! We had a 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 Supreme pizza and the Supreme is “loaded” and they have great hot wings too.
Pizzas are really good. I tried the pasta salad for the first time, and it was really good. There's always screaming and craziness in the kitchen, some people don't like that but I think that's what it makes it an authentic pizza shop.
